Himachal Pradesh is also known as the abode of snow with a soothing weather to calm your workaholic nerves. Nestled in this bucket of Apples is an untouched beauty which is still unknown to many. Chail Sanctuary is one of those unscathed beauties which still offers the real beauty of Himachal. This reserve is quite close to Shimla and lies between the serene Kalka-Shimla railway lines which is one of its kind.
Day 1: Arrival at Chandigarh airport
Nearest airport to Chail is Chandigarh Airport which is well connected with domestic buses. On arrival at Chandigarh, a bus will take you towards Chail which is about 107kms from Chandigarh. The bus will arrive at Chail the next morning.
Day 2: Departure for Chail
After arrival at Chail, you will check-in at your respective hotels. Chail is known for its exquisite flora and fauna and there is a well-curated walk for you to explore that vegetation. You can easily spot Rhesus Macaque, Himalayan wild boar and pretty rare sights of Mountain Leopards. Once the walk is done and curiosity to mingle with nature is dissipated, a nice warm camping with local cuisine and a bonfire will be waiting for you.
Day 3: Sightseeing and departure for Chandigarh
There are many other attractions than the wilderness of Chail, some of them being the Chail Palace and Kali Tibba temple. These two places will be visited by our expert tour guide and will take exactly one day to wrap. Once done, the respected buses will depart for Chandigarh airport.
